Huntington Lake

We started off our summer road trip up at Huntington Lake in the Sierras. This is a trip we do annually with a group of friends. From there we headed to Laramie Wy. to see our grandson and daughter. And then we headed north to our turn around point at Voyaugers National Park and back south to the Grand Mesa in Colorado before heading home. We spent 3 days in Laramie Wy. where our grandson is going to school. This is us and our daughter Jennifer and grandson Benjamin.

This is where my grandson is going to school to learn all phases of auto mechanics and repair. It is one of the premier tech schools in the country.

There are a lot of beautiful hikes around Laramie.

Laramie is a college town and there are dozens of murals painted on walls in downtown.

This is a sculpture called "Bir Twig Head". It is made from cottonwood bark and will eventually decompose and return to the earth.

This is the Wyoming Territorial Prison first opened in 1872. It is now a museum.

It housed many famous outlaws from that era including Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid.
