All of the eagle photos were taken from a small boat. It's just not feasible to take a long lens out in a kayak. Even with the boat it was challenging to photograph the eagles with the boat moving and rocking. Lorna would steer the boat into position with a trolling motor to keep from frightening the eagles. Most of the other photos were taken from a kayak with an I-phone.
